Terms of service
Nytride is operated by a California limited liability company. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean that company, and "you" means the person using this site or buying from it. Our registered details are available on request by email.
By using nytride.com or placing an order, you agree to what follows. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. Ordering
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send you a shipping confirmation, and not before. We may refuse or cancel any order - including after you've received an order confirmation - if an item is out of stock, if a price or description was wrong, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel after you've paid, you get a full refund.
2. Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars and can change without notice. The price that applies is the one shown when you place your order. California sales tax is added at checkout where it applies. We take payment when you place the order.
If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we may cancel the order and refund you rather than honour the error.
3. Product descriptions
We describe our products as accurately as we can. Specifications such as weight in GSM and dimensions are nominal and carry normal manufacturing tolerance. Colours shown on your screen may differ from the item in your hand.
4. Using the products
Car care products can damage paint if they are used wrongly - a dropped towel picked up and used again, a dirty mitt, a product left to dry in sun. Follow the instructions supplied with each item and use your own judgement on your own vehicle.
You are responsible for how you use what we sell you. We are not liable for damage to a vehicle, its paint, or anything else arising from misuse, from use contrary to the instructions, or from using a product that has picked up grit or debris.
5. Returns
Our return and refund policy forms part of these terms.
6. Intellectual property
The Nytride name, logo, site design, photography, and written content belong to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them commercially without our written permission.
7. Accounts
If you create an account, keep your login details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
8. Warranties
We warrant that products are free from manufacturing defects on arrival. Beyond that, and except where the law says otherwise, our products are supplied "as is" without further warranty of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Normal wear is not a defect. Microfiber is a consumable: it wears out, loses pile, and eventually stops working as it did when new.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected with a product or this site is limited to the amount you paid for the item in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of use of a vehicle, the cost of repainting or detailing, or lost profit.
Some states do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of a product or your breach of these terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Orange County, California, and you agree to that jurisdiction.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The version published on this page when you place an order is the one that governs that order.
